The Learnerspace Project – The Model

The generic idea consists of taking a specific subject, or space within the school curriculum, and develop a shared learning space, co-designed with students at the school. Starting with an analysis and reflection on the nature of learning for both adults and students, the project then evolves towards the development of specific learning projects were adults intervene not in the role of being content knowledge experts but rather becoming managers of the learning process, ensuring that relevant, high quality, significant learning occurs throughout the development of the project.
